Studyladder

Our class is using the educational website Studyladder specifically for Maths. However, you can also access other Curriculum Subjects that are matched to the NZ Levels of the Curriculum.

Your child can use this at home to reinforce what they learn at school. The children have their Log in Usernames and Passwords in their communication Books.

Each week set tasks are added for practice and maintenance of new learning and revision in class.

Note: Parents can join their child's Studyladder account to monitor progress and print certificates.

Dear Parent/Guardian,

This is a courtesy letter to inform you that your child’s class is now using a free version of Studyladder, an online educational program which allows students to learn at their own pace.

Studyladder is a K-6 web based educational program designed by teachers. The program is curriculum based and covers Mathematics, Literacy and 8 other subjects. Your child has been given a username and password which can be used to access Studyladder.

Using St

It is not compulsory for your child to use Studyladder at home, however regular access will help your child to reinforce what they have been taught in school. It will also help to build confidence through practice.

Safe Internet Usage

Your child will NOT be able to chat with anyone via Studyladder. However, we still encourage you to supervise your child at all times when using the internet.

Recovering previous points and rewards

If your child arrives home with a new account, use the following steps to recover their rewards and points from their previous account:

1. Log into their NEW school account

2. Click on the MENU TAB

3. Select RECOVER OLD POINTS and enter OLD username/password

All of their past rewards will be recovered. This will also upgrade their new account if the previous account had premium access

Accessing Studyladder from home

Simply go to www.studyladder.co.nz and login using your child’s school username and password. As a parent you have the option to sign up for a free limited home account. This can be linked to your child’s school account to view their certificates and results. Studyladder does not charge for this service, it is optional for parents to upgrade to the full access version.
